    The debate you were having about paying for Manga was interesting. But the struggle is even more real for Shoujo/Josei manga fans. So few series ever get officially published and the ones that do often get print only with no reprints. There are so many Viz shoujo series that you can't read digitally!

The following brief will give you an overview of the disorder and it's two primary types.
